Cameroon coach Paul Le Guen insists he is happy with his side's World Cup preparation despite failing to win any of their warm-up games.

The Indomitable Lions go into their Group E opener against Japan on Monday on the back of draws with Slovakia and Georgia and defeats by Portugal and Serbia.

Le Guen said on www.kickoff.com: "What we wanted has been done. We trained under good conditions and had four friendly games.

"The team is better and the team spirit is good because I have succeeded to make the players compete for a place in the first XI of the team."
