The Borg siblings of Dar is-Sliem, Alexandra Street, Qormi won the first prize in the mechanical crib category of the competitions organised by the National Folklore Commission.
The second prize was won by Johan Briffa of 14, Birzebbuga Street, Birzebbuga. There were three participants in this category.
The large static crib category, which had 19 participants, was won by Emanuel Axiaq of Ghimmanu-El, Karlu Maratta Street, Tarxien.
The second prize was won by Adrian Busuttil of Mahzen ta' l-Armar Balluta, Tower Road, Sliema, and the third by Raymond Deguara of Nicolò Isouard Philharmonic Society, 204, Main Street, Mosta. Mr Deguara also won the first prize in the original crib category.
The small static crib category was won by Justin Formosa of Pinto Philharmonic Society, St Sebastian Band Club, St Roque's Street, Qormi.
The second prize was won by John Mary Mifsud of Ir-Razzett tal-Markiz Mallia Tabone, Il-Ghasel Valley, Mosta, and the third by Joseph Theuma of the Unjoni Philharmonic Society, St Andrew's Palace, St Andrew Steet, Luqa. There were 15 participants in this category.
The second prize in the original crib category, in which there were 13 participants, was won by Joseph Abela of The Shelter beneath the Mosta Rotunda Parvis, Mosta.
The commercial roads category, in which there were seven participants, was won by Dun Nerik Cordina Perez Street in Hamrun.
The second and third prizes were won by the upper and lower side of Antoine de Paule Square, in Paola.
The other roads category was won by Antonio Bosio Street, Msida. The second prize was won by Birzebbuga Street, Birzebbuga, and the third prize by Main Street, Zurrieq. There were five roads in this category.
The clubs, councils, organisations and civic centres façade category was won by the Antoine de Paule Philharmonic Society Christ the King Band Club of Paola, the second prize by the St Leonard Club, Misrah Kirkop, Kirkop and the third by Peace Band Club off Victory Square Naxxar. There were four participants in this category.
