Five Lasallian schools from four countries will today give life to the first edition of the Lasallian International Table Tennis Tournament at Stella Maris College, Gżira.

The participating schools are Sacre-Coeur College (Lebanon), Primary School IM.SW.Jana De La Salle (Poland), De La Salle Strebersdorf (Austria), De La Salle College (Malta) and hosts Stella Maris College.

A total of 26 players will compete in three events namely singles, doubles, and team categories.

The tournament starts today at 10 a.m., when the first matches from the team competition are played following a 20-minute ceremony under the patronage of Bro Martin Borg, coordinator of the Malta Sector.

Hosts Stella Maris College are fielding the following six players: Luke Busuttil, Christopher Portelli, Kurt Bonnici, Karl Grech, Mikael Debono and Daniel Bajada.
