The Labour Party has re-confirmed the officials occupying the top administrative positions, who were uncontested, while 12 new members were elected on the party's National Executive.

Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi was confirmed party president, Louis Gatt vice president, Ray Azzopardi organising secretary and Alex Sceberras Trigona international secretary.

The election took place during the party's general conference, which continued yesterday and ends tomorrow.

The 12 new members who were elected are: Mario Azzopardi, Jonathan Brimmer, Maria Camilleri, Krista Caruana, Ġuża Cassar, Nettu Farrugia, Alfred Grixti, Brian Hansford, Alex Sciberras, Salvu Seychell, Nikita Zammit Alamango and Alison Zerafa.
