La Toya Jackson will be visiting The Point, at Tigné Point, Sliema, today where she will meet fans and sign autographs between 6 and 7.30 p.m.

She is in Malta to promote a hand cream and collect a lifetime achievement award on behalf of her brother, Michael Jackson, from Italian label Stefano Cecchi Records.

The world was jolted when it learnt Michael Jackson, the king of pop, died, aged 50, from an overdose of Propofol, a powerful sedative used as a general anaesthetic, while preparing for 50 concert dates at London's O2 arena.
