The University Students' Council (KSU) said today that it was concerned about the number of University assessment results that had still not been published.

It pointed out that the resit session is due to start on September 1 and the current situation was creating a disadvantage for those students who did not know whether they had passed or not.

It was also concerned that students would not have enough time to receive a reply for a Revision of Paper before they sat for the resit session in three weeks' time.

"The collective agreement places the deadline of July 31 for lecturers to submit any results. KSU is thus apprehensive of the fact that this deadline seems to have been blatantly ignored in certain cases, leaving students from across different faculties still waiting for their results. Such incidents should be avoided in the best interest of the students studying at the University of Malta," the council said,

It urged the University administration to look into the issue and publish the remaining results as soon as possible.
