Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen was the pace setter in the final free practice session on Saturday morning ahead of the European grand prix in Germany. He was just ahead of McLaren's Lewis Hamilton with 1:31.396 in a repeat of the outcome of Friday's second practice session.
McLaren's Fernando Alonso and BMW's Robert Kubica were third and fourth with the exact time of 1.32.039 placing them in third and fourth.
The session was held in dry conditions as the weather continues to improve after the Friday noon downpour.
Renault duo Fisichella and Kovalainen continued to disappoint, coming in 16th and 18th in free practice while Spyker newcomer Markus Winkelhock was well behind team-mate Adrian Sutil in the timings although both were at the bottom of the table..
