The Kilimanjaro Challenge 7 (KC7) will be fund-raising to collect €60,000 to finance the construction of a house for 100 physically disabled, deaf and blind children in Awasi, Kenya.

During a courtesy visit to President George Abela at San Anton Palace, Keith Marshall skimmed through the history of the challenge over the last eight years and the success of the previous six expeditions.

A total of €55,000 has so far been raised for this year’s challenge but more than €350,000 have so far been collected and invested in the construction of a school and convent in the Ethiopian village of Bulbula, within the Meki province, as well as a wing for a three -in-one project in Kenya.

The demand for more major projects to alleviate the suffering of children in the African continent is ever-increasing and more urgent, hence the need to have yet another Kilimanjaro Challenge expedition, Dr Abela was told.

Anyone wishing to assist in the cause may text on the following numbers – 5061 8062 (€4.66) or 50619224 (€11.65).
