A dress that will forever be linked to the royal engagement will go back on sale prompting an expected rush from shoppers.
The three-quarter length Nannette dress was made famous through its prominence in official photographs of Kate Middleton and Prince William captured by Mario Testino.
After withdrawing it for the autumn/winter collection, top-end high street retailer Reiss announced that the creation will hit stores again this week and can be purchased online from today.
Shop managers are preparing for a surge in interest from fans of the royal bride-to-be’s fashion sense.
The classic white, long-sleeved “zip frill” outfit retails for £159.
David Reiss, founder and managing director of Reiss, said: “We have received a tremendous response both in calls and online, and the Nannette will be available this week.
“We have created a web page for customers to register interest in the Nannette dress, and be alerted when it becomes available, and have been inundated with requests.”
