Karozzini horses are yet again being made to suffer under the sun day after day because of the absence of shelter for them at City Gate, the ‘Graffitti’ movement said.
And although a shelter had been built on Palace Square, it was useless because it was too small, the movement added in a statement.
It noted that the authorities were not even allowing the cabbies to shelter their horses under the City Gate arches.
It was shameful, the movement said, that while the karozzin was promoted as a national characteristic, the horses were treated in this way.
It insisted that a proper, permanent solution should be found without delay.
