Jurors in the attempted murder trial of Nazzareno Briffa this morning visited the bar where he had an argument with Peter Borg, known as Il-Ħassi, as well as the farm on the Birkirkara bypass where Borg was shot.

Borg, 56, gave evidence in the trial yesterday. He recalled how he had had an argument at Tony's Bar over a dog belonging to Briffa.

After he returned to his farm, he heard a loud noise. On going out he saw Briffa and then felt a blow on his face.

The prosecution is claiming that Briffa shot Borg once in the face after first shooting twice at a nearby billboard.

Borg said he could not understand why Briffa shot him, particularly since that were old-time friends and had grown up together.
