Jurors this evening found Anthony Bartolo, 26 of Qormi, not guilty of the attempted murder of two men in an incident outside the then Bamboo night club, Paceville in August of 2004. They found that Mr Bartolo had acted in self- defence when he caused them knife wounds.

The jurors, by an 8-1 margin, also found him not guilty to causing grievous injury to Pierre Micallef but guilty of unlawful possession of a flick knife. He was jailed for three months.
