Jubilee Foods recently took part in one of the biggest international specialised fairs, the German International Green Week in Berlin.
The artisan delicacies were very well received on an international scale and Jubilee Foods’ most popular items are now also available in Germany, thanks to a new partnership with specialty foods provider Essclusiv.
International Green Week, which attracts over half a million visitors from over the world, is the world’s biggest food, agriculture and horticulture event. Jubilee Foods participated in this event through a collaboration with the Ministry for Resources and Rural Affairs and the Ministry for Gozo, Eco Gozo as part of the Malta & Gozo stand at the 76th edition of the International Green Week Fair.
A mini retail outlet was set up to offer a selection of Jubilee Food’s most popular take-home items. The outlet also included an open kitchen with live cooking and cooked dishes for sale.
Jubilee Foods served a selection of Cheese and Pea Cakes, Imqaret and Maltese Coffee with traditional Maltese biscuits like Krustini and Kwarezimal and Nanna’s Ravioli with tomato sauce or deep fried.
It offered a selection of the brand’s most popular take-home items, including seven different types of Conserves, the Carob Syrup, Peppered Cheeslets, Plain Cheeslets and Gozo Salt. The new Jubilee Foods Bigilla – a traditional Maltese dip made from broad beans – was also launched during the German International Green Week to a very enthusiastic response.
This was the first time that Malta, including Jubilee Foods, enjoyed full participation throughout this event.
More than 1,600 producers and exhibitors from all over the world participated in the event to feature over 100,000 culinary delights on more than 20 stages where visitors watched celebrities and chefs cook up a storm.
The exhibition included a vast selection of fresh produce, fish, meats, dairy products as well as wine, beer, and spirits specialties. Around 500,000 people visited the Fair.
