Jordan today recalled its ambassador from Iran, saying Tehran was interfering in the Arab affairs, according to the Dubai-based al-Arabiya news channel.

The channel said the diplomat had been called back for consultations.

Jordan follows Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in cutting ties with Iran. The Saudi decision had come after angry demonstrators protesting Riyadh's execution of a prominent Shi'ite Muslim cleric had attacked Saudi missions in Tehran and Mashhad.
