The Cinema Bar by Citylights is today screening two John Hughes films.

The Breakfast Club (1985) will be shown first at 8pm.  The film is about five high school students from different walks of life who endure a Saturday detention under a power-hungry principal. It stars Molly Ringwald, Emilio Estevez and Judd Nelson.

Pretty in Pink (1986) will then be screened at 10pm. The story follows Andie (Molly Ringwald), a teenager who must choose between the affection of dating her childhood sweetheart or a rich but sensitive playboy.

The screenings will take place today at Citylights Bar, St John Street, Valletta, starting at 8pm.
