The Institute for Tourism Studies in Pembroke will hold an open day on Saturday from 8.30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will include a number of activities highlighting the ITS and starts off with a commemoration of the Year for Intercultural Dialogue organised in conjunction with the European Union Representation Office in Malta and the Education Division.

During the event, students from secondary schools will be able to sample traditional foods from foreign countries prepared by ITS students. Visitors will also be able to interact with the participating foreign ITS students and discuss the culture and traditions of their country of origin.

On the same day, the ITS will open its doors to prospective ITS students who will be able to collect the prospectus for 2008/2009 and the application forms for the courses on offer.
