Two Italians are undergoing hospital treatment after having been seriously injured by people said to have been bouncers in Paceville last Sunday.
The incident happened at about 4.30 a.m. when Ricardo Miano, 35, and Luca Dimauro, 27, who work in Malta, were inside a club. They were asked to leave before being dragged outside.
Sources said they were then thrown to the ground and kicked repeatedly, suffering multiple fractures and severe cuts.
Passersby called an ambulance.
The assault was captured on closed circuit television and arraignments are expected to be made tomorrow.
The Italians are being assisted by the Italian embassy.
