I recently noticed the use of what I believe is the incorrect translation of the words "information technology" on written and spoken media, to the words "informazzjoni teknoloġika".

Notwithstanding the fact that I am no expert in linguistics, I would like to draw the attention of readers that the correct translation, which would preserve the original meaning, would be "teknoloġija informatika". The reasoning is that, as I see it, "technology" is the noun, and "information" is the adjective. The phrase "informazzjoni teknoloġika" would translate back into English as "technological information" which is, obviously, incorrect.
