Ira Losco will be singing with Italian superstars at the 9th edition of the O'Scia Festival, which continues up to this Saturday.

Her participation comes just weeks after her Italian Tour with Max Gazze.

Ira Losco will be performing during the final night of the O'Scia Festival. This year's line up includes Zucchero, Alessandra Amoroso, Max Pezzali of 883 fame, I Pooh, Patty Pravo, Enrico Ruggeri, Anna Tatangelo , Pino Daniele and the inimitable Claudio Baglioni.

The festival celebrates the intercultural diversity and solidarity of the island, which has welcomed many refugees.

In 2009, Baglioni's initiative to hold the concert at The Waterfront proved to be a celebration of music including performances by Riccardo Cocciante and Gianni Morandi. This was the first time that Losco was invited to perform. Baglioni instantly invited Losco to the 7th Edition of the festival, which was  held in Lampedusa. Accompanied by his band Losco sang original songs and impressed the Italian audience with her rendition of "Almeno Tu Nell'Universo" accompanied by Baglioni himself on the piano.

The Festival's artistic director specifically asked Ira to perform the Mia Martini song once again alongside her original tracks.

Losco seems to be leaving her mark on the Italian market, regularly receiving invitations to be part of a variety of prominent shows. There may also be television appearances in the near future.

"I am very honoured to be part of this festival and to be billed on the final night. I think what Claudio does is admirable and I am ecstatic to be performing alongside some of the giants in the Italian music scene," Ira said.
