Pippo Inzaghi has won several honours in his illustrious career but this week he told reporters that his heart is now set on winning the UEFA Cup with Milan.
The veteran also has a score to settle if his team reaches the final in Istanbul next May.
This evening, Milan play Portugal's Sporting Braga (20.45) in their second Group E match after beating Holland's Heerenveen 3-1 away in the first match.
Inzaghi, 35, said that while Carlo Ancelotti's team have made the Italian league their top priority this season, the Rossoneri are not ignoring their commitments in the UEFA Cup.
"I realised that the only winners' medal missing from my collection is a UEFA Cup one," Inzaghi told Corriere dello Sport.
"Milan have also never won the trophy and we want to make the final in Istanbul.
"I personally have a score to settle with that city after 2005 against Liverpool. I didn't play. I was not well. I want to take my revenge."
When asked whether he was ready to become the top scorer in the history of European competition, Inzaghi replied: "I would have been happy just to have arrived alongside Andriy Shevchenko."
Inzaghi and Raul, of Real Madrid, have scored 63 times in Europe, while Shevchenko has found the net on 61 occasions.
Inzaghi also has 293 career goals to his name.
