The healthcare reforms being proposed by the government are being misunderstood and the consultation document is too technical, new Health Minister Joe Cassar tells Kurt Sansone in an interview today.

He insists that changes will be made in the wake of consultation and insists that the walk-in concept at health centres will be retained. He also says that the government is planning a new rehabilitation hospital as part of measures to ease the pressure at Mater Dei.

The full text of the interview can be seen on The Sunday Times.
