The Department of Education Studies at the University’s Faculty of Education is organising the second International Lifelong Learning Summer Institute on September 9 and 10 at Mt St Joseph retreat house, Tarġa Gap, Mosta.

The institute seeks to attract participants engaged in any aspects of education, training, social and health work and social activism.

The keynote speaker is Prof. Hans. G. Schuetze, professor emeritus at the University of British Columbia, Canada.

The themes to be discussed are models and meanings of lifelong learning (LLL), international organisations and LLL universities, and ‘From blueprint to reality: The politics of LLL’.

The registration fee is €75. Participants who wish to book accommodation at the retreat house, are asked to call the residence on Tel 2141 6916 or e-mail info@mtsjoseph.org.
