The latest issue of the International Journal of Emotional Education (IJEE) has been published by the European Centre for Educational Resilience and Socio-Emotional Health at the University of Malta, and the European Network for Social and Emotional Competence.
The focus paper, which is written by Fintan O’Regan from the UK, discusses the exclusion of students from school, particularly students with ADHD.
This is followed by four critical commentaries on the paper by academics from the UK and Malta.
Other papers include one on the role of emotional intelligence and social and emotional skills in students’ emotional and behavioural strengths and difficulties, by Maria Poulou from Greece, and another on reducing behaviour problems in young people through Aggression Replacement Therapy, by Knut Gunderson from Norway.
The IJEE is a biennial, peer-reviewed, international, electronic journal which is distributed free of charge and supported by an international board of reviewers with high level expertise in the field.
