The service is extremely simple to use. UniTel calling cards are on sale from leading outlets and Lotto Offices. Phone 2272-1011, a local number, enter the PIN found on the back side of the calling card and dial the overseas destination number when prompted by the user-friendly system.

With UniTel cards you may either start a new account or top up an existing one. You don't need to distinguish between top-up cards and the rest; one card does it all.

You do not need to enter your PIN every time you use the service. You may choose to store and remove your preferred telephone number from the system at will; the process is fully automated.

These facilities are available using UniTel STAR services through which you may also request the remaining balance, make follow-on calls without disconnecting and re-dial the last number, if found busy.
