Inter will attempt to get over the disappointment of their Champions League exit and finish the season strongly in Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
Inter fell 2-1 at Schalke on Wednesday night and lost the quarter-final 7-3 on aggregate, thus dashing the club's hopes of defending its European title.
"I had dreamed about a great comeback," Inter coach Leonardo said.
"Of course we could have done better but we failed to do so.
"We didn't arrive at this quarter-final tie in the best condition. Now we must look ahead.
"I was, and I remain enthusiastic. We must be clever now because we have to fight in Serie A and in the Coppa Italia and we have to bounce back.
"We still have a lot to do and we have important aims to accomplish. We are alive in both competitions."
Inter, who are third in Serie A and five points behind league leaders AC Milan, travel to the Ennio Tardini stadium to face Parma on Saturday.
AC Milan, meanwhile, will be without Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic for Saturday's match against strugglers Sampdoria.
Ibrahimovic, who is the team's joint top scorer with 14 goals alongside Alexandre Pato, will start a three-match ban this weekend.
Second-placed Napoli are three points behind Milan and riding a four-match winning streak in Italy as they go into their home clash with European hopefuls Udinese.
The azzurri will be bolstered by the return of star striker Edinson Cavani from suspension this weekend.
Lazio leapfrogged Udinese into fourth place with last weekend's victory over Parma.
