The Inspire Foundation, which offers services for people with disabilities, raised  €5,300 from collection boxes at the airport terminal in the past six months.

Inspire CEO Antonello Gauci thanked all donors and Malta International Airport.

“Inspire believes that everyone has a right to equality and inclusion. Our mission is to try to help everyone with a disability achieve this,” he said.

“We do this by providing individuals and their families with educational, therapeutic and leisure services. We also advocate for inclusion, educate the general public, raise awareness among peers, and hold the best knowledge base on disability on the island. This, however, would not be possible without initiatives such as the donation boxes.”

MIA PR and Marketing Executive Patricia Attard Darmanin said MIA is committed to helping local organisations be a force for good in the community. Organisations benefiting from the money collected in the collection boxes are changed every six months. She too thanked passengers for their generosity.
