A Hungarian man who fell a height of one-and-a-half storeys while taking a picture in Mosta has written in to thank all those involved in rescuing him. He also enclosed the picture he managed to take.

Csaba Timar said he was discharged from hospital yesterday after having hurt himself  on January 2.

"I would like to thank everyone who was there for helping me. Thank you to the person(s) who have found me and called the ambulance, for the ambulance man called Vince and his assistant, the nurses and doctors at Mater Dei and my family, friends and especially my girlfriend!," he said.

"With this e-mail I would like to show the picture what I took before I fell down."
