The influenza vaccine will be available to eligible persons at health centres as from Monday, the Parliamentary Secretariat for Community Care said.

The vaccine will be available as follows:

Floriana Health Centre Monday to Saturday - 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Paola Health Centre Monday to Saturday - 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Mosta Health Centre Monday to Saturday - 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
B'kara Health Centre Monday to Friday - 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Saturday - 10 a.m. - noon
Cospicua Health Centre Monday to Friday - 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., Saturday - 10 a.m. - noon
Rabat Health Centre Monday to Friday - 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Saturday - 10 a.m. - noon
Gzira Health Centre Monday to Friday - 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Saturday - 10 a.m. - noon
Qormi Health Centre Monday to Friday - 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Saturday - 10 a.m. - noon

The flu vaccine will be provided free of charge to the following categories of people: health division employees, health care professionals and other staff working with patients and at homes for the elderly; people in institutions, students attending special schools, those aged 55 years and over, children between six and 59 months, people suffering from chronic respiratory disease, chronic heart disease, chronic liver disease, chronic kidney disease, diabetes and any chronic immunodeficiency state, including HIV or AIDS.

In the case of people below 55 years, evidence of one of the above conditions has to be presented either through a Schedule V Control Card or a medical certificate.
