The annual rate of inflation as measured by the Retail Price Index last month stood at 1.32 per cent, up from 0.14 per cent a year earlier.

The main upward impacts were mainly due to higher prices for vegetables, furniture and tuition fees.

The largest downward impacts were due to a reduction in the prices of fuel, garments and gas.

The 12-month moving average rate was 0.93 per cent.
