The Union Haddiema Maghqudin has given notice of industrial action at State schools following a stalemate in discussions over the conditions of school technicians.

Starting from Thursday, the UHM has instructed technicians not to make use of any means of communication, including e-mails.

The union said discussions had been dragging on for months without any tangible signs of progress for employees.

The UHM also ordered action at the law courts in connection with issues concerning messengers and senior court recorders.

Starting from Wednesday, workers in both categories have also been instructed not to make use of any means of communication.
