The Times' food and drink magazine, E&D, returns tomorrow with an end-of-season issue that is guaranteed to make the switch from sultry, summer flavours to warmer comfort food much more fun.

With the summer holidays over, many must already be thinking of their next trip around Christmas time. In this issue, E&D takes a spicy and colourful tour around the world with a series of travel features and traditional recipes that will give tastebuds the travelling bug... from Reblochonade and fondues in the Swiss and French Alpine villages to Granita in Sicily and exotic spice in India. Resident cook Concita Demicoli takes E&D readers on a walk on the spicier side of life, with a series of recipes featuring chilli peppers. And for those who get tears in their eyes from just a pinch of pepper, recipes range from the super spicy to the ultra mild!

Agony aunt Gloria Mizzi is back with her invaluable advice about all those little niggling recipe problems.

On the personality front, don't miss E&D's sneak peak into TV personality Joseph Chetcuti's kitchen.

This month, the editor also hosts four of Malta's most renowned actors to dinner at The Blue Elephant. See what Nanette Brimmer, Alan Montanaro, Colin Willis and Alan Paris have to say about the local theatre scene.

Tomorrow's top chefs get their say in the regular Behind The Scenes feature, which this month focuses on the silver service restaurant that is run by students at the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS).

E&D is published by Allied Newspapers Limited and designed by MediaMaker Limited. The magazine is edited by Ramona Depares.
