Tony Drago joined Alex Borg in the last 32 of the Euro Championship when he chalked up a fifth victory to finish second in Group C.

Drago beat Croatia's Sasa Novak 4-0 on Monday, compiling a huge 139 clearance, the best in the competition so far. Yesterday, he complemented that win by beating Luc Heireweg 4-1.

Borg, already through, was back to winning ways yesterday after beating Annti Mannila 4-1. On Monday, he had conceded his first defeat in the group after going down 4-1 to Ireland's David Hogan.

Best-of-seven matches from the last 32 stage will be played this morning.

Meanwhile, Tony Mifsud was eliminated from the Masters tournament in Duffel when he lost 3-1 to Ron Jones in the last 32.
