Halilhodzic: PSG coach Vahid Halilhodzic is in danger of being axed after his side's 2-0 league defeat at home to Racing Lens at the weekend. Club chairman Francis Graille, who has backed Halilhodzic despite a string of disappointing results, said on Sunday that a decision would be taken soon.

Barthez: France goalkeeper Fabien Barthez has withdrawn from tomorrow's friendly against Sweden in Paris because of a gastroenteritis and been replaced by Mickael Landreau of Nantes. Landreau last played for France in November against Poland (0-0).

England: John Terry, Wayne Bridge and Ledley King pulled out of the England squad for tomorrow's friendly against Holland. Chelsea's Terry bruised his knee during the 0-0 Premier League draw at home to Man City on Sunday, while his club mate Bridge injured his foot. Tottenham's King withdrew after his groin injury was assessed by England's medical staff.

Scotland: FA Cup quarter-final draw made yesterday: Ross Co. or Clyde v Celtic, Hearts or Kilmarnock v Livingston, Dundee Utd v Aberdeen, Hibernian v St Mirren. Ties to be played February 26, 27.

Moldovan: Romanian striker Viorel Moldovan announced his retirement from soccer yesterday after his club Servette went bankrupt last week. The 32-year-old said he had rejected an offer from Romanian first division club Poli AEK Timisoara to play for one more year but might return to his country as a coach or club leader.
