Eto'o: Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o was given the all clear to leave hospital yesterday in time to face Real Mallorca this weekend, sports daily Marca said. Eto'o was taken to hospital on Friday after clashing heads with team mate Damia Abella in training ahead of today's Primera Liga match at the Nou Camp.

De la Pena: Espanyol coach Miguel Angel Lotina has accused midfielder Ivan de la Pena of a lack of commitment, and left him out of today's clash with Malaga. "He has not trained in a dignified and professional manner so the best thing for him is to stay at home and rest," Lotina said. "We will see if he is committed on Monday."

Aragoneses: Former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Sergio Aragoneses hopes to make a swift return to soccer after undergoing surgery to remove a tumour from one of his testicles. "I have had the operation, they have removed the tumour and it looks like I am not going to have any more problems," he said. The 28-year-old said the tumour had been discovered during a routine medical at Elche.
