Lippi: Marcello Lippi, who coached Italy to World Cup glory in 2006 before stepping down, has not ruled out returning to the job in the future. "In life you never say never. One day, I don't know when it would not displease me to return to coach Italy," he was quoted as saying.

Eguavoen: Austin Eguavoen has quit as coach of struggling South African club Black Leopards after just two matches in charge, the club said. Nigerian Eguavoen, a former Sliema Wanderers player, had signed a short-term contract to try to save the club from relegation.

Borriello: Genoa boss Enrico Preziosi has promised he will do everything he can to secure the signature of striker Marco Borriello. The 25-year-old arrived from Milan in a co-ownership deal last summer. "We will do everything we can to sign him," Preziosi said. "Marco is attached to the Genoa shirt."

Rossi: Lazio coach Delio Rossi said he won't be leaving the club. After a disappointing campaign, Rossi has restored pride with a derby triumph over Roma and a 1-1 draw with Inter. He said: "I have another year on my contract and I think I will respect that. I will sit down with the club to discuss what will happen."
