Rangers: Rangers have confirmed the signing of American DaMarcus Beasley from PSV Eindhoven. The 25-year-old midfielder completed his medical and joined the Glasgow club in a transfer worth £700,000 while Rangers were parading two Bosman signings - striker Jean-Claude Darcheville and keeper Graeme Smith - yesterday. Darcheville signed from Bordeaux while Smith quit Premier League side Kilmarnock to move to Rangers.
Osasuna: Osasuna have agreed to sell midfielder David Lopez to Athletic Bilbao for six million euros, the Navarran club said. Bilbao only recruit players from the Basque region.
Nakamura: Scottish Premier League champions Celtic said yesterday Japanese midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura was committed to the club despite reports to the contrary. In a statement Celtic dismissed newspaper reports that Nakamura was ready to quit by exercising a "get-out" clause in his contract for a transfer fee of one million pounds ($2 million).
Liverpool: Bulgaria under-21 international goalkeeper Nikolay Mihaylov has joined English Premier League club Liverpool from Bulgarian champions Levski Sofia. Mihaylov, son of Bulgarian Football Union president Borislav Mihaylov, signed a three-year contract with an option for a further two years.
Getafe: Getafe have decided not to take up the option to buy on-loan Latvia striker Maris Verpakovskis. The Dynamo Kiev player spent the last six months with the King's Cup finalists.
