The Institute of Financial Services - Malta recently held its annual general meeting at its premises in Pietà. During the well attended event, president Joseph Abdilla, secretary Wendy Zammit and treasurer Joe Ricca delivered the administrative and financial reports, which showed the institute had a very active and successful year.

During the AGM elections were also held for the vacant posts on the committee, which were contested by nine members.

At the first new committee meeting, Mr Abdilla was reconfirmed as president of the institute for the second consecutive year.

The committee for 2005-2006 is also composed of: John Agius, vice-president; Roberto Apap Bologna, secretary; Rudolph Gatt, assistant secretary; Joe Ricca, treasurer; Paul Farrugia, education officer; Peter Calleya, PR and marketing; Kenneth Micallef, activities; and Wendy Zammit, Simon Grech, Simon Azzopardi, Robert Scott, Renald Theuma, Chris Warren Falzon, Joseph John Agius and Victor Rizzo Giusti, members.
