Eight APS Bank staff members who successfully completed courses delivered by the Institute of Financial Services were presented with certificates at Xara Lodge in Rabat.

The annual IFS ceremony, attended by prizewinners, their relatives and key banking practitioners, kicked off with a welcome address by IFS president Kenneth Micallef. A keynote address by the chairman of the Education Consultative Council, John Consiglio, followed, encouraging students to never stop learning.

The APS cohort and their achievements for 2017 consisted of: Jeremy Noah Agius – BSc (Hons) in Banking Practice and Management; Annis Stellini – Professional Diploma in Banking Practice and Management; Terrence Seychell – Diploma in Investment Advice; Jessica Gravina Zammit – Diploma in Fund Administration; Audrey Cassar Camilleri – Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialist; Natasha Grech – Professional Bankers’ Certificate; Shelaine Cassar – Course in Maltese Financial Regulation (first in course); and James Duca – Course in Maltese Financial Regulation.

APS Bank was also the sponsor of a cash prize for the top student in the Professional Bankers course, which this year went to Maria Scerri.

“We are especially proud to be recognising our staff members on attaining such great results in their academic journey and we are convinced that this will likewise reflect well in their respective careers,” said Ray Bonnici, APS Bank’s head of Human Capital.
