My current ARMS Ltd invoice has estimated electrical consumption that is more than 100 per cent greater than the actual.

The ARMS computer knows what my previous actual consumption was on a daily basis, so it seems it could have estimated my current consumption with a bit more accuracy. Or is this overestimation programmed on purpose, so that consumers are charged the expensive rate on non-existent high consumption?

This overcharge will never be fully recovered by the consumer.

The government company handling the water and electricity bills should not be allowed to estimate readings as long as an escalating consumption rate is applicable.
