Ten aid workers who went missing in South Sudan last week have been freed from an armed group that detained them in the Yei region southwest of the capital, the International Committee of the Red Cross said in a statement on Monday.

The ICRC said none of those detained were ICRC staff officials and it was not involved in negotiations for their release, but they were flown in an ICRC aircraft to the capital Juba on Monday.
