HSBC Cares for Children Fund will today join children and other organisations to mark World Children's Day at Ta' Qali National Park.

World Children's Day began on November 20, 1959, when the United Nations general assembly adopted the declaration on the rights of the child. The day is observed throughout the world on different dates.

HSBC Cares for Children Fund recently made a donation to the Education Ministry.

HSBC head of public affairs Josef Camilleri, said: "The fund enjoys the support of HSBC staff who regularly, and on a voluntary basis, participate actively in activities to improve children's quality of life, particularly of those with a more difficult background."
