House prices in Malta rose by 2.6 per cent during the second quarter of 2015, according to figures issued by the EU’s statistical office Eurostat.

This means the growth rate has slowed by 0.3 per cent, the second highest drop among EU states.

When compared to the same quarter last year, house prices in the euro area rose by an average of 1.1 per cent and in the EU by 2.3 per cent.
