Parliament yesterday started discussing two motions setting up two new Select Committees - one to discuss the drafting of a law on assisted procreation and another to make recommendations on the codification of the Laws of Malta.

The motions were presented by Leader of the House Tonio Borg.

The new committees would be headed by Nationalist MPs Jean-Pierre Farrugia and Franco Debono respectively.

A full report will be carried tomorrow.
