A pregnant woman got the shock of her life on Wednesday when an escaped horse trampled over her Toyota Yaris close to Pavi in Marsa.

The horse died on impact.

The police said the accident happened at 5.15pm.

The woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital as a precaution.
