Puttinu Cares is holding the 14th edition of the Good Friday night walk starting from the Sanctuary of Our Lady in Mellieħa and ending at the Nativity of the Virgin Mary church in Senglea.
Fruit, water and coffee stations will be provided along the way. Participants will be accompanied by emergency transport throughout the walk. A certificate of participation will be awarded to all participants.

Funerary band marches in Valletta
The King’s Own Band Club, one of the two main band clubs in Valletta, will be playing funerary band marches in the streets of Valletta today.
The programme will include new musical pieces from the club’s current maestro, John Galea, and others from the club’s extensive musical archive, such as Vincenzo Ciappara, and other musical pieces associated with Holy Week.
The band will leave from Parliament Square at 8pm, go the way down Republic Street to St John Street and down Merchant Street. It will finish in front of the church of Porto Salvo and St Dominic at 11pm.
Visita Iglesia
The Women’s Commission within Our Lady of the Lily Musical Society of Mqabba is organising the traditional Visita Iglesia.
The group will visit different churches and chapels in the localities of Rabat and Mdina as a pilgrimage, together with several Good Friday exhibitions.
