Some €600 were stolen last night in a hold-up on an ice-cream parlour in Borg Olivier Street, St Julian's.

The police said the incident happened at 12.45 a.m.

A hooded man entered the parlour armed with a knife and demanded cash from the attendant. He then ran out with the cash. No one was injured.
