The excellent account of the Egypt Air hijack 25 years ago and the interviews of three people who were involved in this tragic episode, in particular forensic expert Anthony Abela Medici, revives the horror of those hours and the utter futility of terrorist attacks.

Perhaps Mohammed Ali Rezaq had the last word when he was sentenced to life imprisonment by US District Judge Royce Lamberth in Washington on October 8, 1996.

He made a very short statement in English in a guttural accent: “I cannot accept myself for what I did – I feel guilty for what’s happened.”
