An afternoon tea fundraiser in aid of Inspire was launched this morning by Michelle Muscat.

The High Tea will be held at Auberge de Castille on December 3, World Disability Day.

Mrs Muscat, the Prime Minister’s wife, launched the event this morning during a visit to Inspire. She was given an overview of the various services offered by the organisation and spent some time with some of its adult clients. Inspire offers services to more than 1,000 children and adults with disabilities who receive training and support to reach their full potential in life.

Mrs Muscat praised the work done by Inspire and said that it was this Government’s declared commitment to help people with disabilities by all means possible.

Inspire requires almost €3 million a year to keep running and offering its services, most of which are free or heavily subsidized, to so many clients.
