During the Christmas period I underwent major surgery at St Luke's Hospital and recovered from surgery at the Neurosurgical Unit (NSU). I am so impressed with the series of events that took place during my convalescence at this ward. After the operation I was made very comfortable and the attention I received ensured that the surgery was successful.

The NSU ward staff were extremely caring and compassionate, not just to myself but to all the patients under their care. This is certainly a flagship within the hospital with its staff providing an excellent and professional service.

I was also impressed by the ward management both during the day and night shifts. Their dedication and commitment is commendable. I am now on my way to a full recovery and wish to thank the surgeon and his dedicated team, the head nurse and his deputy, all the SRNs, ENs, nursing aides, hospital auxiliaries and, of course, the physiotherapists who gave me so much confidence.

My family and I thank them all for yet another job well done.
