Fast acting herbal slimming tea of the Paiyouji Plus, originating from China is not to be consumed because it contains sibutramine, which is not permitted in food, the Superintendence of Public Health said.

Sibutramine is a medicinal substance and medicinal products that contained sibutramine were withdrawn from the market last year following evidence that they could have adverse cardiac effects.
